The American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine is the primary organization that represents the interests of osteopathic physicians involved in the treatment of alcoholism and substance abuse. Addiction Medicine CME Courses Accredited by the AOA Earn AOA Category 1-A credit in addiction medicine annually at its Annual CME Conference. AOAAM assures its members the latest and most valuable information regarding addiction medicine. Members of the Academy are eligible for reduced registration fees. AOA Representation AOAAM has a direct voice in AOA's policy through the AOA's House of Delegates and Council of Osteopathic Specialty Societies.
